60 Seconds With...Dilek Rose

Dilek trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Film credits include: Snake Pit, Addi & Chess, The Chocolate Wrapper. Theatre credits include: Taming Of The Shrew (Rural Tour), Waiting For Summer (The Etcetera/Old Red Lion Theatre), Keepsake (Old Red Lion Theatre), Gather Ye Rosebuds (Theatre503), Fallujah (The Cockpit Theatre), The 24 Hour Plays (Old Vic Theatre), Contractions (Trafalgar Studios), Shakers Re-Stirred (The Brewery), Love’s Labour’s Lost (Circomedia), The Wild Party (Tobacco Factory). Dilek will be starring in PLAY 9. 

1. Where did you grow up?
Harrow, Greater London


2. Did you go to drama school?
Yes I did indeed, 3 years of Acting at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School


3. What is your dream role?
Hamlet and then Cleopatra when I'm a more refined lady.


4. Which theatre would you most like to work at?
A gig at The National wouldn't be too shabby


5. What is the biggest lesson that you’ve learnt in your career so far?
Not to take things personally.


6. Favourite PLAY moment so far?
Day one, getting to know the players and playing crazy games.


7. If PLAY 9 were a colour, what colour would it be?
Yellow! It's fun and vibrant
