60 Seconds With...Lowri Palfrey

Lowri Palfrey trained at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Recent credits include 'Parallel Lines' (Dirty Protest) and 'Keep Smiling/PLAY 4' (PLAY). She is currently appearing as series regular Annest Haf in S4C's 'Gwaith/Cartref'. Lowri is starring in PLAY 11.

1. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? 
I think when I was really little I wanted to be a mermaid at one point. 

2. Did you go to drama school?
Yes, I went to Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and had the best time and made some brilliant friends. It really is a bloody great place. 

3. Which theatre would you most like to work at?
I would love to work at the Royal Court or the Almeida - both places that I visited when I was younger and inspired me. 

4. Which super power would help you do your job better?

5. What's the best piece of advice you've been given? 
Relax, take your hands off the steering wheel, and see what happens. 

6. Best PLAY moment?
Has to be the first day of PLAY where we all get to meet each other and play as a company of actors, writers and directors. It's such good fun. 
And then maybe an improvisation back when we did PLAY 4 and Lewis MacKinnon was a human turtle.
