60 Seconds With...Ronak Patani

Ronak trained at Central School of Speech and Drama. Recent theatre includes Behind the Beautiful Forevers and Dara (National Theatre), Primetime (Royal Court), Pine (Hampstead). Recent TV/Film/Radio includes Stella (Sky 1) Point Break (2015) and Tommies (Radio 4). Ronak will be starring in PLAY 9. 

1. What did you want to be when you were little?
A Scientist. In my last role I played a Scientist. Mission accomplished...-ish.

2. Did you go to drama school?
Yep. Central.  

3. Who is your favourite actor?
As of last night, Akram Khan

4. Which theatre would you most like to work at?
Globe/Bush/Roundhouse

5. Who would play you in a biopic of your life?
My son. 

6. What was the best thing you saw at the theatre in 2015?
The Play That Goes Wrong

7. What have you enjoyed most about PLAY so far?
There are no boundaries or subconscious cerebral notions of what we must make next to make what we just made, or what will then go on to make, make sense. Make sense?!
It's terrifying as much as it is liberating!
